About Me

My story
HI! I'm Sara. I am a NY State Acupuncturist. I started acupuncture school in Albuquerque, NM in 2002 after learning about Chinese medicine as a patient and for many years I saw the power of Chinese medicine for all types of pain and how fast it could reduce pain. I also learned how well it worked for things like MS, Crohn's disease, and lupus, how well it worked to increase fertility naturally or along with medical infertility treatment and all types of women's health issues. Over the years I began fascinated with how much it worked with lifestyle changes and I developed an interest in other forms of preventative medicine and I still have that same passion in my latish 40's. I recently studied Functional Medicine and Integrative Health in Women's health with Dr. Aviva Romm to better understand health from a Western medicine and a western herbalist's view. It was life changing, I also studied Health coaching with the Chopra Institute.
Over the years I have been impressed with the power of acupuncture for many issues. Recently I have been diagnosed with severe osteo-arthritis in my right knee after a lifetime of injuries to it and exercising too much for my knee. I use both supplements and homeopathics, acupuncture , PT and steroid and gel shots from the orthopedist. I use all types of herbs, supplements, exercise and dietary changes as well as BHRT for perimenopausal issues such as anxiety, depression and mood changes. I believe in integrating whatever helps to make you feel better and be healthier physically and emotionally.

I use all of my knowledge to help my patients and clients, as well as myself.
